Phetchabun Mountains

 


The Phetchabun Mountainsare a mountain massif in Phetchabun, Phitsanulok, Loei and Chaiyaphum Provinces, Thailand. It consists of two parallel mountain chains, with the valley of the Pa Sak River in the middle. The highest peak in the Phetchabun Mountains is Phu Thap Boek, which reaches 1,794 meters (5,886 ft).

The Phetchabun Mountains are a popular destination for hiking, camping, and nature lovers. The mountains are home to a variety of plant and animal life, including many species that are endemic to the region. The area is also known for its beautiful waterfalls, such as Tat Mok National Park and Huai Mae Khamming.
