Bhumibol Bridge Rama III Bangkok

Bhumibol Bridge Rama III Bangkok
Beautiful Bhumibol Bridge

The Bhumibol Bridge is the bridge cross Choa Phaya river connecting Rama III road to Poochao Samingphrai Road and Suksawat road, The Bhumibol Bridge was initiated by HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The aim of constructing this is to reduce the traffic problem within Bangkok and its surrounding. The Bhumibol Bridge crosses the river twice by there is an interchange in the middle and it has two cable-stayed spans of 702 meters and 582 meters.

Bhumibol Bridge is supported by two majestic diamond-shaped pylons that are 173 meters and 164 meters high. The Bhumipol Bridge opened on 20 September 2006 and later on 5 December 2006 it was the official opening.

The Bhumibol Bridge is a very beautiful viewpoint in the morning, especially the sunny shine day, you will see the golden cable touch with the sunshine, and under the bridge is the Choa Phaya river, how such a beautiful view. At night around 7 pm up the Bhumibol Bridge is illuminated by various light patterns of a variety of colors.

If you don't like to drive on the bridge you can enjoy the beauty of it by having dinner at the restaurant on Rama III that they are nearby Chao Phaya River blank (you can see my previous restaurant review on Rama III area). I am the one who uses this bridge every day to work therefore how I am lucky to see the beautiful view twice a day.
