Golden mountain fair is annually held (from the 11th day of the waxing moon of the 12th lunar month to the 3rd of the waning moon of the same month). It's the largest temple fair at Wat Saket during every Loi Krathong festival.
The purpose of the temple fair is to worship the Budhha's relics enshrined in Golden mountain in the compound of Wat sacked by wrapping the golden pagoda with red cloth. The Golden mountain fair this year will be held from 21 November 2012 until 30 November 2012. The fair starts at 5 pm and it's always very crowded.
