Royal Barge National Museum Bangkok is displayed in boatsheds which are elaborate and unique. Located just off the Choa Phraya river on Klong Bangkok Noi or Bangkok Noi channel. The National Museum of Royal Barges contains the most significant 8 of the 52 royal barges.
The Royal barge was made from big pieces of teak wood with prows carved into mythical creatures gilded in gold and elaborately decorated with tiny shimmering pieces of glass. The most eight Royal barge's names are The Suphannahongsa or golden swan which is the personal barge of the King.
